yes!!!! dy finally went to Jogoya!!! after a long long long LONG time of craving for it...

went with a bunch of colleagues... dy, Jef and Chris were the early birds... (i even skipped lunch for it!!)

the first thing that i did was grab a coconut and drink up while i hunt for food.. chris took a plate of oysters and i only had ONE for the whole night cos it doesn't taste that good.. maybe because it's too BIG.

jef told me he can't make it at first cos his gf went back hometown to vote.. i asked him to come alone but he don't dare to go without her.. cos she'll kill him for not bringing her!!! *ekeke*.. luckily tho, joey made it back to kl on time to join us.

this looked delicious huh? but then i only ate the egg.. a lil too salty for me. i don't know how the crab taste like tho... not a crab lover..

jef told me when jogoya first open, they have super fresh steam fishes.. but not anymore now... still taste ok for me tho.

nothing very special la.. jut that they don't know what to eat, so they just simply put the clip on the ordering bowl.

there was this crab in it and i guess they froze the cra when they bought it back. when i bite on it, it's like i'm biting off a beef meat. damn not nice and not fresh!

i took this for the soup and vege only.. normal taste. i prefer the tomyam at mamak near my house...

last one to arrive. apparently they were lost in kl. -_-: ok.. can't blame them cos they like in shah alam and don't go to town often.

Malaysian Dreamgirl?

been catching Malaysian Dreamgirl since they go on air.. got to know about this reality contest through kennysia.com and when i first saw it, i've thought about giving it a try.. just to prove to "someone" that i might have a chance...

but then again, after i saw myself in the mirror, the sight of my huge thighs and bulging tummy just stopped me from thinking to go further. heck i won't be able to even get into the audition room with THIS body.

so i didn't thought much about it after that... but it doesn't stop me from not watching the show though.. *winkz*

i've watched the audition thingy and was quite surprised with the judges' decision of who to stay and who that got eliminated.

well, my opinion after i watched the 12 girls' profile video, some of them don't really know how to talk in front of the camera, maybe they're nervous? i don't know... i did not finish watching the whole video. while the other few are completely comfortable and i can say that they do have potential to stay in the competition.

well, after watching it, i'm so so SO grateful that i did not go for the audtition!! most of the finalists are very slim while a few are boney. some of then have a very healthy and good complexion. but then some of the finalists' face doesn't "sparkle", if you get what i mean..

but still, i have to salute those who dare to go for the tryout because it really takes a lot of guts to face the judges and absorb their critiques cos some critiques are very mean, like how Kenny said one of the girls' outfit was "interesting" and the girl, of course, thanked him, but he said that it's not a compliment straight to her face. (i think everybody knows that it's not a compliment when he said that...) he said that the cardigan looked like a table cover from some mamak stall.. ( i know... right?) while some are really good advices.. like how they give opinion on what clothes that flatter their bodyshape, and how they tell those girls who can't make it to try harder next time by reading more fashion magazine, exposed themselves more and all... i think these advices are really good to improve themselves even though they can't make it. and there's an advice that that the judges told a girl to go for Miss Teenage thingy instead of model search cos she looked very young. i think the reason they said that is either the girl is really suitable for the other competition, or it was just another way to tell the girls that they're not suitable for Malaysian Dreamgirl. but i still think that the table cover thingy is pretty nasty.

well, after watching it, i think i can't blame the judges for being so cruel by giving horrible critiques.. cos some of the girls that went in really deserves it. like one of the girls went in with a gum in her mouth... when i saw it, i'm like... "what the hell?" it's very rude to chew a gum during an audition. everyone knows that it's rude, right? Salute Kenny when he ask her to go out and don't have to go back in. But Jimmy is nice enough to ask her to get rid of the gum and go back in. I think he thinks that everyone have the chance to complete their routine. while some girls tried too hard to impress the judges by wearing heavy make up, colored contact lens that doesn't compliment their features and the outfit that's not suitable for a model search audition. there's one girl who went without make up and Kenny told her that her face is very oily and Jimmy said that she doesn't looked like she came with clean shampooed hair.. i think it's very embarassing to have a stranger to tell you that. for me, the most important thing is my hair! it's bad enough to have oily hair and it's definitely not appealing to walk out with one. some girls doesn't take critiques very well and they talk back, of course, it's because they want to protect themselves. just like the "table cover" girl, when kenny said that it looked like a MAMAK STALL table cover, she said that it's "creativity"... MY GOD!!!!!!! what on earth she's thinking about? and when Kenny said that it's not creative, it's ugly, she asked, "why should i worried about other people's opinion?" hundreds of OMG... of course she should worried about the judges' opinion! they are THE judges. THEY are the one who decides who should go home and who should stay from the audition..! tsk.. tsk...

twenty two and a half years of my life...

as far as i can remember, this is the FIRST time!

i've been feeling sicky 2 days before CNY. went back to Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, over to my aunt's house for reunion dinner and i really caught fever at night.

dang!

cny day 1:
reached kl around 3pm and was feeling better.. went to sunway pyramid for a walk.. but then 80% of the shops was closed and the fever came back.. went back home to rest.. i don't feel like going out but then.. the heck.. it's cny.. so went out at night to ken vin's place..

felt better when i got back home.

day 2:
went back home for brunch. bad headache.. then went back to ming's place and watched american gangster. then we went out for a drink. bad weather. damn hot! melaka was better.. it's very windy there.

after mamak, we went to pavillion.. didn't manage to get myself clothes but ming got like... 6 shirts from parkson. fucking 70% for almost everything he bought. damn worth it cos it's branded.

i only got myself a body polish from body shop and few bottles of aroma theraphy.

mission to shop = failed.

went to soo kee @ imbi for late dinner and it's damn expensive!

let's not talk about how expensive it was cos i'm sure i'm not going back there again. because the aunty owner is damn fucking rude to us.

after dinner thought of going to gary's place for mahjong session.. but then got a call from deric. he was in smart tunnel and caught in an accident. his car... hmm... almost total loss. will post up photos when i got it. luckily he didn't hit any other cars. but me and ming have to send sabrina to hospital for check up.

there goes our mahjong session.

day 3:
woke up at 8am. trip to ipoh to peks house.

was still feverish but then still ok.

ipoh was like... 50% hotter than kl and terrible jam there. everywhere we went was jammed. went out clubbing for like... one hour continued drinking at home.

damn not worth it.

i slept straight after we reached home and they continued drinking and gambling until 4am.

my dimsum plan = failed!

day 4:
went back to kl. took 3 hours to reach home. still better than last year. they said it took like 5 hours.

well, we took the emergency lane most of the way. :P

day 5:
can't remember what i did. i only rememebr that i went to see doctor at night and it costs me rm85! and got tiu-ed by the doctor.. i asked him why my body easily get bloated.. he asked me whether i smoke and drink. i told him i only smoke. don't drink. and he said when we smoke, our liver inflaminate.. and when it does, our body easily retain water.. "smoking is already proven a killer... if you wanna listen, you listen, if not, you'll die faster.." cibai.

and his appearance looked more like a gangster to me than a doctor.

then i found something that i've never thought of seeing in his wallet...

a friend was playing with her polaroid camera and she snapped us.


i can't believe that he kept it in his wallet all this while.

everytime i asked him, he said he threw it away cos it's ugly.

and silly me.. i thought he really did.

Alfie saved me!

Came back home from Gary and Joyce's wedding dinner on Saturday night and some friends were comign to our place, so i thought of clearing up those dirty clothes in the room and put it in the laundry basket in the kitchen.. it was almost 1a.m and the kitchen door was closed. the kitchen lights were off too.. when i'm walking towards the kithcen, Alfie was following behind me. when i opened the door, he ran, stepped on my foot and caught something. at first, i thought it's some bug or something cos i can't see without the lights... when he bite few times and spit it out again, i saw something meaty.. light brown thing.

then, that's when i saw its tail moving, separated from its body...!

yes.. it's a damn lizard!!!

me, being a chicken, jumped up and sat on the table, screaming for help, fearing that Aflie will bring it near me. Luckily after few minutes of calling Ming for help, he flushed it down the toilet.

If not because if Alfie's alert eyes and fast movement, i'd be the one who stepped on the lizard..

okay... it's just a random post. ignore me.

going to Joyce's house for her wedding eve dinner tonight.. *Congrats babe!!*

so many things happened lately.. (i wonder when can i stop using this phrase.. gah!)

it made me think a lot.. and it's draining off my brain juices.

i think everyone will go through a phase whereby everything seems wrong and everyone seems annoying.

i'm going through this phase.

luckily it doesn't last long.

i've talked to her few days ago about how i'm feeling lately. she told me to stay away from sad people. by sad, she meant people with with many problems and having difficulties in relationship, life and other unfortunate stuff. because unknowingly, they're sending some bad aura to me and affect my mood.

well, i guess she's quite right about that.

because lately, the people i'm hanging out with are having pronlems. and not only one of them... there are a few of them. those whom i hang out very closely with. those who always share thoughts and feelings with me.

i think i've picked up their bad aura unknowingly.

so i stayed away from them for a bit and i'm feeling much better now.

well, not to say that i totally "stay away" from them... it's just that i see them less and talked less about problems. and i feel better now.

i know it's kinda selfish to accuse them giving me bad aura. but then.. if you're going through this, you will probably feel the same too.

well.. it's such a relieve that everything is ok now. at least for the time being!

i'm going to move back to my place next month!

i can't wait to clean up and redecorate my room though..

don't get me wrong, nothing bad happened between me and ming.. it's just that i think it's better for me to stay away from him for a bit. nope, he's not giving me bad aura or anything bad.. i just feel like going home. plus, there are things that i need to take care of. long story.. and don't feell like ranting bout it here though.

hmm..

chinese new year's around the corner. and this year we can't celebrate cos grampa just passed away few months ago.. so this year will be a very quiet year for us.

will be going back to Tampin, N9 to visit my aunt though.

Alfie is getting naughtier lately...

-peeing with his legs up.. i think he saw our neighbour's dogs do it outside and he just follows...

-peeing on the boxes in the kitchen cos the outside area was wet due to rain..

-attempted to fuck arms when i played with him..

so many other naughty stories of him..

but then he's getting smarter thoguh!

he caught a lizard (my enemy!) yesterday noon..

ming's mom were teaching yesterday and he was asleep under the chair. before he slept, he tried to catch one lizard, but it got away. leaving the tail behind.. then Alfie went to sleep... after a while, Ming's mother saw a tail-less lizard near the place Alfie were sleeping.. she went near him and whispered, "Alfie.. lizard.. neh the lizard there," pointing at the lizard. As soon as he heard the word, "LIZARD", he jumped awake and quickly look at the plce she pointed and stepped on the lizard!!

how i spent my money on the first day of year 2008.

Ok... thought of writing about all the adventures and happenings.. but then.. i think i'll do it on the weekend.. :P

well, i spent the new year at home, eating take out, which, i will blog in the weekend too. :P. so when i reached home on new year's noon, Ming's mother were playing with Alfie and she found out that there's cat lice all over his body. we caught a few of it and i rushed Alfie to the groomer. like.. immediately.

i was just afraid that he'll die of blood loss or something..

this is alfie few weeks before...

the groomer put him on the table and after a few minutes, they saw quite a lot of cat lice dropped on the floor.. they have to soak him in the chemical for like.. 45 minutes and i asked them to shave off his coat.. they said he caught those lice cos it rained a lot lately and alfie likes to go to the garden and play... maybe he caught it there. kesian my alfie..

i told them to shave it cos..

1: it's better cos there will be less chances of getting caught with ticks and lices again..

2: to make sure that there's no eggs on his body.

3: it's easier to take care when he's short haired. :P

4: just wanted to change his hair style since i changed mine. :P

when i brought him home, he's very depressed.

maybe he knew that he's sick so we had to shave him off. and i think he's mad at me cos i let them shave him.

normally, he will jump and bark whenever a family member came home from work. but that day when ming's father came home, he hid under the chair.

when ming's father saw alfie, he joked.... "wah!! no hair jor.. so ugly ar?" alfie just looked down and dont' want to come out.. but thwn his father said, "it's ok lar... nothing lah.. the fur will grow long very fast one.. it's ok..." when he heard that, he came out and wag his tail at ming's father..

i think aflie understands human language tho.
