performance appraisal...

one task that least appeal to me in work.

why?

because it's kinda difficult to actually write about myself when it comes to work. it's not nice to brag and it's not nice to pull myself down when i don't think that i'm not good.

so what do i write then?

something general and certain that everybody see me as.

i don't know how much an appraisal will actually affect on anything..

anyways...

Alfie saved me!

Came back home from Gary and Joyce's wedding dinner on Saturday night and some friends were comign to our place, so i thought of clearing up those dirty clothes in the room and put it in the laundry basket in the kitchen.. it was almost 1a.m and the kitchen door was closed. the kitchen lights were off too.. when i'm walking towards the kithcen, Alfie was following behind me. when i opened the door, he ran, stepped on my foot and caught something. at first, i thought it's some bug or something cos i can't see without the lights... when he bite few times and spit it out again, i saw something meaty.. light brown thing.

then, that's when i saw its tail moving, separated from its body...!

yes.. it's a damn lizard!!!

me, being a chicken, jumped up and sat on the table, screaming for help, fearing that Aflie will bring it near me. Luckily after few minutes of calling Ming for help, he flushed it down the toilet.

If not because if Alfie's alert eyes and fast movement, i'd be the one who stepped on the lizard..

okay... it's just a random post. ignore me.

going to Joyce's house for her wedding eve dinner tonight.. *Congrats babe!!*

so many things happened lately.. (i wonder when can i stop using this phrase.. gah!)

it made me think a lot.. and it's draining off my brain juices.

i think everyone will go through a phase whereby everything seems wrong and everyone seems annoying.

i'm going through this phase.

luckily it doesn't last long.

i've talked to her few days ago about how i'm feeling lately. she told me to stay away from sad people. by sad, she meant people with with many problems and having difficulties in relationship, life and other unfortunate stuff. because unknowingly, they're sending some bad aura to me and affect my mood.

well, i guess she's quite right about that.

because lately, the people i'm hanging out with are having pronlems. and not only one of them... there are a few of them. those whom i hang out very closely with. those who always share thoughts and feelings with me.

i think i've picked up their bad aura unknowingly.

so i stayed away from them for a bit and i'm feeling much better now.

well, not to say that i totally "stay away" from them... it's just that i see them less and talked less about problems. and i feel better now.

i know it's kinda selfish to accuse them giving me bad aura. but then.. if you're going through this, you will probably feel the same too.

well.. it's such a relieve that everything is ok now. at least for the time being!

i'm going to move back to my place next month!

i can't wait to clean up and redecorate my room though..

don't get me wrong, nothing bad happened between me and ming.. it's just that i think it's better for me to stay away from him for a bit. nope, he's not giving me bad aura or anything bad.. i just feel like going home. plus, there are things that i need to take care of. long story.. and don't feell like ranting bout it here though.

hmm..

chinese new year's around the corner. and this year we can't celebrate cos grampa just passed away few months ago.. so this year will be a very quiet year for us.

will be going back to Tampin, N9 to visit my aunt though.

Alfie is getting naughtier lately...

-peeing with his legs up.. i think he saw our neighbour's dogs do it outside and he just follows...

-peeing on the boxes in the kitchen cos the outside area was wet due to rain..

-attempted to fuck arms when i played with him..

so many other naughty stories of him..

but then he's getting smarter thoguh!

he caught a lizard (my enemy!) yesterday noon..

ming's mom were teaching yesterday and he was asleep under the chair. before he slept, he tried to catch one lizard, but it got away. leaving the tail behind.. then Alfie went to sleep... after a while, Ming's mother saw a tail-less lizard near the place Alfie were sleeping.. she went near him and whispered, "Alfie.. lizard.. neh the lizard there," pointing at the lizard. As soon as he heard the word, "LIZARD", he jumped awake and quickly look at the plce she pointed and stepped on the lizard!!

how i spent my money on the first day of year 2008.

Ok... thought of writing about all the adventures and happenings.. but then.. i think i'll do it on the weekend.. :P

well, i spent the new year at home, eating take out, which, i will blog in the weekend too. :P. so when i reached home on new year's noon, Ming's mother were playing with Alfie and she found out that there's cat lice all over his body. we caught a few of it and i rushed Alfie to the groomer. like.. immediately.

i was just afraid that he'll die of blood loss or something..

this is alfie few weeks before...

the groomer put him on the table and after a few minutes, they saw quite a lot of cat lice dropped on the floor.. they have to soak him in the chemical for like.. 45 minutes and i asked them to shave off his coat.. they said he caught those lice cos it rained a lot lately and alfie likes to go to the garden and play... maybe he caught it there. kesian my alfie..

i told them to shave it cos..

1: it's better cos there will be less chances of getting caught with ticks and lices again..

2: to make sure that there's no eggs on his body.

3: it's easier to take care when he's short haired. :P

4: just wanted to change his hair style since i changed mine. :P

i asked the groomer to shave all except his legs and tail. if course, his head too.
see? clean. long haired dog became a short haired dog. i think it's cuter this way, right?

when i brought him home, he's very depressed.

maybe he knew that he's sick so we had to shave him off. and i think he's mad at me cos i let them shave him.

normally, he will jump and bark whenever a family member came home from work. but that day when ming's father came home, he hid under the chair.

when ming's father saw alfie, he joked.... "wah!! no hair jor.. so ugly ar?" alfie just looked down and dont' want to come out.. but thwn his father said, "it's ok lar... nothing lah.. the fur will grow long very fast one.. it's ok..." when he heard that, he came out and wag his tail at ming's father..

i think aflie understands human language tho.

i wanted to post something here...

too lazy to type.

i wish i can just think and words will come out on the screen...

super busy last 2 weeks... due to somelaunching that my company is doing, everyone have to stay up late and rush.

actually there's a lot of things that i wanted to share now and here. but then seriously, it'll be very long so i thinki'll save it when my blogging mood comes back.

i think 2 months ago, i sent joyce back to gary's cc and we saw this St Bernard outside the shop with his owner.. his name is boyboy i think...

he's so HUGE that his head is bigger than mine!! and he salivate a lot til it dripped on my foot..

I was reading a friend's blog and she raised a question that I feel like discussing it here...

She was asking whether is there really pure friendship between a guy and a girl. She's in doubt.. I'd like to ask... Why not?

A guy and a girl can definitely be good friends. And friends only. Not more than that. That's if both party feels the same. If one of them actually liked the other one, it's called lying. Pure friendship does not includes liar in the relationship. They are frank with each other and both knows clearly that friends are friends. Normally pure guy and girl friendship is very simple.. They know from the start that they won't like each other or they're not the type that each other are looking for. You know what I'm talking about? I know sure some of you will ask, what if as time goes by they like each other? Or one of them like the other one? Simple... Then it's not called pure guy girl friendship la.. Like I've said earlier... If it's one hand clapping, then he/she's a liar.... Broke the rule of pure friendship. But if they liked each other... Er... Both of them are liar from the begining la!!! Simple right? You know what I'm really trying to say? Ugh... It's something that you know from the very beginning la.. Sure got a guy and a girl will remain friends forever one ma.. If every guy and girl that you know also you want to like.. Then everybody will be very busy and stupid.. Like means like la.. Don't like means don't like la.. If like a bit, then don't say pure la.. say you like. say you admire...

My opinion, true friendship and pure guy girl friendship and best guy girl friends are 3 totally different things. Cannot mix them up because the terms they use is also different.

Haiya.. Suddenly I also don't understand what I'm trying to say...

And about.. Can we remain friends with our ex?

I don't see anything wrong with remaining friends with our ex boyfriends or ex girlfriends... Come on la... There IS a reason why theyr're called ex... It's already past... It's done.. Why can't be friends? And, if you're still friends with your ex, don't hide from your current partner la.. Let them know. Show them that you guys are really friends la.. rather than hiding it and cause other party to think of something else. my opinion, if you hide it, means you still like him/her. be honest only la..

so Ming said maybe it's some parts of a cow or something..

I guessed it's intestines of a cow or kambing...

then finally we couldn't stand it so we asked one of the mamak worker what's sup gear box..

he said "itu... gear box ah... uh..... itu kerbau punya tulang... "

oh..

but he sounded unsure.. so we waited for a while and asked another fella..

"oh.. itu... sup kambing ada, sup ayam ada, sup tulang..."

dy: bukan.. bukan ada apa sup... apa itu sup gear box?? (pointed at the sign)

"gear box?? tak taulah... "

they said that we look alike, though i think i'm prettier than you.. :P it's nice to know that your shoulder is there for me anytime, everytime, if not, most of the time.
