i've been meaning to write about how i my bag got snatched, or rather, TAKEN FROM MY LAP, 2 weeks ago. but er.. i guess it can wait cos i feel like it's gonna be a long rant. plus, i need some photo of the place for better illustration of how it happened. ugh.
hmm. it's February already!!! gosh!! so fast! anyway, Happy Belated Birthday Uncle Mun !!! heh.. so nais.. how i wish my birthday is a public holiday!! ish.. jeles...
oh.. went to Ah Wet restaurant for some yummylicious thai food to celebrate Uncle's bday last Saturday.. i'm already missing the mango salad!!! damn nice..

then Joe recommended this appetizer called "Mang Kiam" or something similar sounding. it's actually leaves wrapped with peanuts, dried shrimp, limau, chili, ginger, onion and some flakes that tastes like sotong. dunno what's that tho.. you just wrap a lil bit of everything and dip it into the sweet peanut sauce (ala chee cheong fun sauce) and eat it. surprisingly yummy. must put some chili for the extra "kick"..
simple yet delicious.
of course, how can we not order tomyam right? tomyam in a coconut. really got coconut flesh one!! but i think that day punya standard is not as good as the first time i went there early last year.
we ordered a lot of food that i have no time and no camera to take any photo (lost my camera also.. T_T ) . there's crabs, bbq prawns, bbq squid, SUPER TENDER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED pork neck meat!!!!!!! (no photo but it's damn good!!!), bbq fish, steamed fish, green chicken curry, pandan chicken, 2 types of vege, sambal petai and er.. what else?? i think that's it la.. total bill came up to about RM600. that's 13 of us btw.. quite affordable lah.. the most expensive it the crabs.. 2 crabs for RM98. (i actually called and reserved 4 crabs but they last minute told me only 2 left cos the crab supplier didn't send it to them that night -_- )
mm... i wanna go back for mango salad!!!
