Log Terrace @ Hatyai

Is a very cosy and nice place to dine at. It's located at... er.. I dunno what's the name of the place called, but it's located at the riverside. The design and decoration of the main hall is very beautiful. They have man-made waterfall in the restaurant. The moment we step in, it's like we're in a cave. Except for the materials they use for the floor, walls and ceiling is nicer la.. and all man-made, so not smelly like real caves. Oh, they even have 2 emus there. And they have 2-3 crocodiles too. But no bats la.. We decided to take the table on the river so we have to take a very very long stairs down to get there. There were no handles at all on the staircase. And it's made of rocks.. Kinda scary when I think about it now cos I have but because I've never dine on a river before, I got too excited to care about the heights. So our table is on the river. Can feel the platform move a bit when we walk. It's on top of the water and the platform is not high, so can just dip our hands in the water when we bend down.. So near. Kinda scary tho.. Suddenly got crocodile come out, then die...

Anyway, we went there around 6p.m so it's almost sunset when our food is ready. Didn't have the complete photos from the camera yet. (I'm just lazy to go home and transfer all the photos..) Below are the pictures took by my phone cam.

It doesn't look as nice in the photo. Phone camera ma.. color not nice.. But really, it's very nice view. But problem is got a lot of mosquitoes.. Riverside ma...

My Pandan Coconut.. Very sweet. Flesh is not so hard, not so soft. Perfect!

Seafood Tom Yam. Orgasmic. Eat with rice damn shiok.



This is the squid from the tom yam. Filled with pineapple. Shiokalingam!!!

Fried omelette with squid and otak-otak. One of the best omelette I've ever had.

Stir fried vege with garlic. (I dunno what this vege called in english, canto they call it "sai yong choy" direct translate west caucasian vege.. ekeke..)

Deep Fried Softshell Crabs with Onions. First deep fried softshell crab that I had. It's damn delicious okay.....

Sweet, Sour & Spicy Prawns. Tastes a bit like tom yam.. They cook this dish with asam boi.. taste ok ler.. Maybe ate too much of heavy flavoured food before eating this so it doesn't taste special. But it's still delicious la.. I ate most of this dish cos Daddy can't eat too much prawns, Uncle Sherman was too full to eat more and Desmond that lazy ass from small til now don't like to peel prawns. So I have to finish half of this alone..

So overall, I'd give 4/5 for the food, place and price. It only costs me THB 1,260.00 for this dinner for 4. Worth every cent. But I still think that there's too much of mosquitoes despite placing a mosquito repellent oil there.

So I got a reply from my boss this morning. A very short e-mail.

'Denise - What happened? Can you wait for me to get back ?'

I replied,

'Boss,

I do wish to wait for you to come back and discuss. But the job that was offered to me require me to start on 15th March.

My sis said I very brave.. But I think it's just straight forward.

So I'm waiting for his answer.

I told the new company's asst. manager that I'll take the offer, but will let him know bout the notice once I get the reply.

So now... If my boss still want me to wait for him, new company might not be waiting for me anymore. But I still can stay.

If my boss say ok and let me go in a week's notice, I can leave. But I still can stay if i suddenly change my mind.

Part of me wants to leave, part of me wants to stay.

Sigh!
