We celebrated our Chirstmas this year at home. i cooked dinner.
mix frozen vege with butter and salt. fast and easy. won't go wrong.
spaghetti. al dente. another no frill. got mushroom soup also. heh. Campbell lah.. what else..
bolognese. this time, i used minced pork and button mushrooms. it's very easy to cook.
ingredient needed:-
minced pork
2 large onions, diced/chopped
1 can of button mushroom, sliced
some shredded mozzarella cheese
1 can Prego Tradional pasta sauce
some pepper
heat some oil. throw in the onions, when it turn a lil brown, add minced pork (i forgot how much pork i used. i think it's either 300g or 500g) and cook thoroughly. add some pepper for taste. add mushroom and cook until you think it's cooked (yes. i cook with instinct), then add in the sauce and add a lil bit of water if it's too dry. i think i added half can of water, i don't like my sauce to be too watery. cook for another 3-5 minutes. settle it into the dish and sprinkle as much cheese as you like. cover it so the cheese will melt faster and you're ready to serve!
easy right??
next dish!
lamb chop!
ah.. another easy one.
you'll need:-
lamb shoulder (bought from Carrefour)
black pepper
marinade lamb with lotsa HP Sauce and black pepper. then fry it the way you like it.
so simple!!! (actually it's a bit chewy cos they cut the meat to thick. had lotsa leftover so we added some mustard in the marinade to soften the meat and some Teriyaki sauce to make it more flavorful for the next day dinner)
see? so simple and tasty. and it's definitely cheaper to eat in.
hmm. that's what i did on Christmas eve!
on Christmas Day, another cooking at Peks house!
