M.A.C.C. CNY Edition with twtclub!

So last Wednesday, some friends (of friends) from twitter organized an outing to watch M.A.C.C CNY Edition.  So I secara tak tau malunya RSVP to the event despite knowing only TWO person there (TockCock  who ffked, and Andy who’s so sweet to remind me bout the event, I thought it was Thursday) cos I know I cannot miss it. Thanks to Mei Ying who bought the tix for everyone (I hope I paid the correct amount back to you, wtf now only I realized I dunno how much is the exact amount but I just paid RM30, hope it’s enough.. if not, let me know, I belanja yumcha next time..heheh..)

To be honest, it’s really very difficult to convince someone to support our local comedian. Wtf.. I’ve tried dragging Vincent, Smelly, Uncle Mun, Kenny, etc..  but their response is always “why you wanna pay to watch comedy?” a bit wtf right..? Almost all of them are reluctant to support our local comedian simply because they thought they’re not funny enough or it’s not their type of humour, when they personally NEVER been to ANY of their show. And what irks me is that they actually liked Russel Peters, Lam Hoi Fung, Wong Chi Wah or Michael Hui..  -_- what the fuck is the difference right??? It’s still stand up comedy!!!  Wtf.. superstar comedian is default funnier than keci meow comedian issit?  -_____-   ok let’s not digress.

Managed to snap a photo with Chi Ho and with that, it completes my “collection”. Lol!

So I’ve been twice to M.A.C.C  1^st EGM and when I got to know that there’s M.A.C.C CNY Edition, I just HAVE to go.. even though they shamelessly announced that only 20% new jokes and 80% is recycled.. but really I think it’s more than 20% lah.. to be honest, my personal favourite of all 3 of them is still Chi Ho.. not that Jenhan  and Douglas is not funny or anything la.. you know.. it’s like love? You can’t explain why right?(not that I love ChiHo lah.. just a metaphor ok.) seriously, I think we should start supporting our local comedian, especially the *cough*M.A.C.C*cough* heheh.. honestly, overall, it’s a good show. But I have to say that some jokes are a bit er… boring jor.. *runs*  okay lah, actually not because they are boring.. because it’s my 3^rd time watching them so er.. cannot blame them lo… (they already write there big big only 20% new jokes ma..) :P  I think this time around, more people are turning up for their shows and I heard every show is full house (congrats!!). Crowd is definitely more supportive and more than their 1^st EGM (but  saw many familiar faces from the first show). *thumbs up* I just hope that their upcoming show will be a whole new joke/chapter! Can’t wait!!  So people, make sure you at least support them at least ONCE in the future ok? *winkz*

M.A.C.C. CNY Edition

M.A.C.C is back for Chinese New Year! The first thing I did when I read Jenhan’s twitter update about the upcoming M.A.C.C CNY is to shout out at fb and create an event to gather up friends to go watch with me!! I’ve been to the previous “AGM” twice. First time with Shorty , second time with Tockie , which I managed to snap photo with Douglas and Jenhan *proud*.

Seriously, I’ve been bugging everyone to go watch with me but everyone was like so skeptical and unwilling to spend on this kinda entertainment. Hmphh. Then after the first time, I fell in love! That’s why I don’t care and went for second time but too bad that time my fav ChiHo is down with chicken pox so he didn’t perform. Honestly, it was the best RM33.88 spent!!! (oh, have I mentioned that Douglas was invited to perform at my company’s annual dinner last year? ^O^ best!! )So this time around, I managed to drag UncleMun to agree to go with me. Seriously no regret one.. for CNY Edition it says on their banner.. 20% new jokes! lol.. i can't wait! ok.. it’s priced at RM28 for shows on 27^th & 28^th January, and RM38 for shows on 29^th – 31^st January. I might be going on the 31^st tho I really wanted to go for the first day’s show. Now, for those who have not been to their comedy before, I strongly recommend all of you to at least attend ONCE in your lifetime! Go go go!! Get your tickets before they’re all sold out!
