Trust

This whole month was a month of trusting.

Trusting God.

I believe that I’m being put into a test of faith.

There are a few occasions where I’m being “tested”.

Of course, there are still doubts.

“Are You real?”

“Do You really hear me?”

“Are You punishing me?”

“Are You just testing my faith?”

“If You really heard me, then why everything seems to be falling apart?”

“Are You scheming something?”

Is it true that we have to go through real hardship before we can be sure of what is the best for us? I’ve learnt. I will be good. Am I not good enough so You’re giving me obstacles?

Have I asked too much that you think it’s nonsense?

Too much that you gave me a lil glass of smoothie but at the same time put in some rocks in it?

I don’t know.

I feel helpless. I can’t do anything but just talk to You. But really… do You really hear me?

I Love Lanterns!

It was Mid Autumn Festival yesterday. brought back some childhood memories where we will play with candles and lanterns at our old house car porch. We would fill up the main gate with candles and play with those transparent colorful plastic animal shaped lanterns.. don't know if they still selling those lanterns now.. now most of them are those electric ones, with Angry Birds, Hello Kitty or some super heroes characters. not so original anymore..

we would light up the candles on the car porch, making heart-shapes, flower-shapes, and our names on it.. we would play with the candles once it's burned out, waxing our fingers.. so much fun. those years when fire crackers are still widely available, we would play with our neighbours. we loved running around with sparkles sticks.. ah.. what a wonderful memory.

I Love Cycling!

 Went cycling last weekend at Taman Pertanian Shah Alam with a colleague and friend. Arrived just in time before they closed... so we still have 1 hour to explore.. phew~

Damn gung ho I tell you... semangat start to cycle.. but not even half way (about 1km), short of breath due to poor stamina and the hills are SO STEEP!!! that was my second time cycling, first time went to TTDI park.. 

Quite amazed that after 14 years, I still managed to remember how to cycle. :P

Cycling up the hills are torturous..

 Gave up half way and pit stop to catch my breath.

Need to train my stamina and cycle more! Ganbatte!!

Wonderful Weekend at Tatsu

 Craving for Japanese (again) so went searching for Japanese buffet. We ended up at Tastu, InterContinental Hotel.

 The menu. Very simple, just description no-photo.

The buffet is only available on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Priced at RM98++ per person, you just order whatever in the menu, 5 items per table at one time.

 Sushi set

 Grilled cod fish with teritaki sauce. Super sedap ok..

 Sashimi set. Their sashimi is super fresh and they're quite generous with the servings, though they only serve 3 slices per plate. But you can order as much as you want, so no big deal with that. I think we had 4 plates of these. Yummy!

 Tempura set. Batter is just nice, but we're too full by the time we ordered this so we didn't finish it.

Mini choc fondue as desserts. we also ordered mochi (top left) and red bean soup with tong yuen. Quite nice but too sweet for my liking.

Ordered some other food as well, but too busy eating. heh. 

I think the price is quite reasonable for the quality of food and environment. Their staff are very tentative too. Will definitely go back there again to try the rest of the food in their menu. :)
