hard decision.

this morning around 8 o'clock, Smelly's (i shall call Ming Smelly from now on.. stories after this lah) mother asked me to call the vet. she told me that Ah Girl, our 16/17 year-old terrier mix is not feeling well. Ah Girl refused to eat last night and this morning, Smelly's mother told me that Ah Girl shitted blood. very red and bloody! it was all over the floor and it's watery too. then her body is very hot and she shivers from time to time. Smelly's mom saw this and felt very painful for Ah Girl. she's a good dog. never jealous with Alfie when he was brought back a year ago, never wailed even when she have skin infection on her body that when we accidently touched the injured skin, she'll only whimper a bit. she's very old. she have cataract on both of her eyes and she's very boney now that only long hair will cover her bone frame, which she can't keep cos it tangles very easily and we had to cut her hair short everytime after it grew perfectly long and looked healthier.

but this morning, Smelly's mother thought of putting Ah Girl to sleep. to end her misery. so that she can leave painlessly. so that she could go to a better place then suffering all kind of sickness that she suffered and still suffering.

so i called the vet reluctantly and made an appointment later at 1pm. since i'll be gone to work and will not be back until 3pm, i took some last photos of her and with her. then, Smelly came out, asking me why i squat beside Ah Girl. then i couldn't help it.. tears rolled down uncontrollably. i felt terribly sad. i felt very bad. for calling the vet and let them do this to her. it's like i'm a murderer, using the vet as killer. she looked fine to me at that moment. just like any other days. but flies came out of nowhere and kept disturbing her and i can see that she could not do anything to get rid of the flies. perhaps she didn't even feel the flies are there at the first place. she can't see already cos she had very bad cataract. i wonder if she ever saw how i really looked like?i really hope that she knows how i looked like and that she'll remember me, like how i will not forget her. since the day i saw her two years ago, her eyes has been like that. sometimes she seems to be able to see things.. but most of the time now, she kinda lost her directions. i guess her nose is not so sensitive anymore too. cos she always make few wrong turns before she could get to her bowl of food which we put it in front of her everytime. she'll still sniff away from the bowl and make few big rounds before she get to the right place.

i felt extremely sad that we had to make this choice. a choice that i don't prefer doing. it's living things. it has life too. i don't think she deserves to be put to sleep, considering that she's really a very good girl. never wailed even when Smelly's mom need to put her outside instead of in the house cos she had to take care of a baby boy that time. since then, she stayed outside wihtout complaining, occasionally will sneak in the house when the door was not closed properly. yet, she's so obedient. so patient. but so old now :(

after half an hour calling the vet, Smelly's mom called me back to cancel the appointment. she said she can't take it as well. she felt very bad too. so after some thoughts, she decided to just let Ah Girl to either cure her bloody shit or to just wait for her last breath to be taken away by nature instead of us, causing it.

i was very happy to hear that of course! i called the vet again and told him that we cancelled our plan. "she seems to be fine now, but then i'm not too sure" i told him. after i told him about her condition, he said "in this case, alternatively, you can feed her some supplements, like anti oxidant and other vitamins. it can heal them. it really helps, a lil if not a lot."

i happily replied him "ok, i'll drop by if she didn't get any better by tonight. then only we'll make final decision. thank you very much!"

so there!

i'm no longer a murderer borrowing someone else's hand to kill.

Ah Girl will live as long as she want to. as long as she think she can endure the pain. as long as we don't even bother trying on another attempt of murdering her again. as long as we know it's not her time yet. cos if it's time, there's always signals. i do hope that the bloody shit is not a signal cos i can almost feel her, in pain. i hope she'll have an easy journey back up there when the time comes. i hope it's just because of the heaty weather that caused her bleed.

i hope she'll stay longer.. another 4 years, maybe? that'll make her 20 years old by then. at least she lived longer than the average dog's life span already. she's 16/17 now. i heard average is only 12 or 13 years? means that despite all kind of sickness in her, she's considered healthy, to be able to live this long.

or that's what i thought.

i hope she'll get better soon. let's pray for her. :)

am i stupid or they're too clever?

today, my boss left his phone in the car. so he asked me to get it for him.. i have to go to the post office to send tons of game client out.. since i don't drive to work now, i have to use his car.

so it was the first time i'm using his car and it was a Toyota Vios. My boss is a very careful person. he uses steering lock EVERYTIME he park his car. after i unlock the steering lock, i attempted to start the engine.

no sound.
no nothing.

can't seem to ignite the car.

the car keep beeping. so i closed the car door. the sound stopped. then i tried starting the car again...

same thing.

then i put on the seat belt.. (oh well.. i thought it helps you know.. whatever!)

then tried to start it again...

bloody hell.. no response..

so i climbed out the car, closed the door, and open it again, climbed in and try starting again... i didn't know what i did til it don't start... so i thought of doing the "normal" step of "getting into a car". (stupid.. i know.. very stupid...)

mgh! it just won't start!!

at that moment, my phone rang.. Gary called me for some urgent matter, before he hung up, i asked "wei, btw have you drive a Vios before? like.. you know.. STARTING the engine?" then he said.. "oh.. on the driver's side, near the key there got a hole. just poke it with the thing that's attached with the car key." (Btw, thanks Gary!!)

i was damn stupid right?? rupa-rupanya it's the car alarm thingy.. bloody hell made me sweat 5 minutes in the parking trying to figure out HOW TO START THE ENGINE!!!

mother's day is coming.

i don't know what to get her. getting something for mom seems to be the hardest thing cos almost everything in US is cheaper and nicer and newer than in Malaysia. so it's kinda like.. wasting money lah. though i know whatever thing that i get, mom will still be very happy and appreciative since we (her children) made an effort to actually GET something for her.

oh.. i thought of something when i was in the shower just now.. i'll scan a photo of mom (since i don't have digital photo of her), then take a photo of myself kissing (side profile), then photoshop it to look like i'm realy kissing her, make a photo frame and mail it over.

lame? no?

i know lah.. i'm not born to be as creative as Shorty, but then this idea seems quite creative to me, though i know there might be something more creative than this.

i'm thinking of ordering flowers too. but this.. aih.. lets not talk about this.. cos last year i planned to surprise her with flowers, with Harvey's help, but then mana tau last minute on her birthday, he told me that the shop don't accept credit card or something. aiya.. the point is troublesome lah! so planned was cancelled. :(

so this year.. i think i'll stick to something simple and easy to deliver.

oh, btw i'm going to Bangkok on the 19th. comng back on 22nd. woohoo! can't wait for it. hopefully this year's plan will not be cancelled due to some important relative's wedding again. :P

oh.. and.. for those who wanted to get me pressie this year... i only have one (yes, ONE) item in my wishlist this year (besides getting richer and getting promoted).

i only wanted a LAPTOP.

Detox.

finally...

one week after drinking TruDtox..

i still haven't see any difference yet.

well, except for the first day i drank it, i went to toilet IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! damn tiring ok! i slept around 1am that night and i woke up around 3am cos my stomach ached like there's a twister in it.. but to my disappointment, NOTHING came out. nothing but pain.. gah!!! but luckily it's just for a while.

i think detox tea doesn't work for me cos everytime i try drinking detox tea, nothing out of ordinary will happen. nothing like what other people claimed- going to toilet many times and A LOT OF THINGS came out kinda routine. for me.. it's still normal. going to toilet every morning is normal for me.. even after i drink detox tea, i still go every morning.. nothing also...

i think detox tea is either not suitable for me or i have no toxic!! gah!!


btw, i just bought ClenX tea.. another brand of detox tea... will try it tomorrow and see what happens..

TruDtox?

i'm sure many of you heard of TruDtox tea... which obviously, is a detox tea for those who's very toxic.

gah!

after reading the newpaper about detox few weeks back, i finally bought this TruDtox tea to flush out all the toxic and shit that sticks on the wall of my intestines.

boyfriend always complain that i have an ugly huge bulging tummy and i'm tired of telling him that i'm easily bloated so i thought of detoxing. it's not cheap ok... rm29++ for only FIVE sachets of teabags! so so SO expensive!

i just started drinking it today, in fact, i'm drinking it now while i'm writing this... so far nothing happened yet. (i read that this tea will make my tummy slimmer!)

hopefully will see results after one week.

if not, then i think it's really the water retention. or maybe it's really the fats.. tsk tsk..

went to pasar malam last week and came back with a bunch of food.

bf just came out of shower. he kept on sniffing his fingers. for like... few minutes, with his weird expression.

i burst out a loud laugh. non stop i tell you!

i got a call from my credit card customer service rep just now and she started talking about some extra benefit that the company currently promoting as soon as she verified me... as usual, it was some insurance plan... i let her talked about three minutes and she sounded very pleasant and happy and she memorized all the details...

then, i told her, "oh... sorry, actually, i'm not interested".


she just gave me a , "oh, ok" and she hung up.


never even say thank you! so rude! well, at least you say "it's ok then. if you changed your mind, you can call to bla bla bla... " right?

i know most people, who go online often, are catching up Malaysian Dreamgirl now... i just finished watching the latest episode 10. and something strucked me..

i realised that they don't put subtitles when the girls spoke in Malay... persoanlly, i think it's abit unfair to those people who doesn'y understand Malay language. what if people from China are watching it? what if people from other Western country are following it too? and surely they won't understand any of those words except English, right? (that's IF they speak in proper English). i think they used too much of Manglish in the show as well. Especially the jugdes...

my point of view, i think they should speak better English so that people from other country can understand what's it all about and not only put subtile for Chinese, i think they shoud do it for Malay as well... the reason you do it online because you wanna be exposed to the whole world, right? why do it so embarrassingly? Totally agree with Cindy on this one!!! Go watch Episode 10 Part 6 if you wanna know what she said...

i think she really have a potential to be a model. why? because she really scores in EVERY photoshoot. i think her photos all came out very very nice and her eyes... it's very "real". like it's telling us something. even if she looked away from the camera.

bad service!

So I was writing (or more likely, complaining) about how bad the service that I’ve received when I went dining at IOI Mall.

I was writing about how long Ming and I haven’t been to the cinema since we got together two years ago…

Yeah.. so we finally went for a movie after such a long LONG time. Normally we’ll go with a bunch of friends for those movie that’s worth watching in the cinema… for those movies that’s not-so-cinema-worth, we’ll wait for “clear edition” dvds to be out… *heheh* but most of the time, we’ll choose the latter… once every two months or so.

So two weeks back, we decided to watch Ah Long Pte Ltd. Since that it’s already 8pm when we decided to watch it, we can’t book it in advance already… so Ming suggested that we go to shopping mall with less people… we decided on IOI Mall since it’s very near our place and might not be crowded. When we reached there… so wrong… there’s so many people there, queuing for tickets! There’s only front row left for the movie we wanted to watch. Ended up with 10,000 B.C tix.

Movie starts at 10.30p.m and we have like.. one and a half hour to eat dinner. Since it’s IOI Mall, we don’t have much choice. We decided to hop in to Wong Kok Char Chang Teng. We took a seat outside at the smoking area. The table was not cleaned yet when we took the seat, so we waved at one of the waitresses when she walked pass us for the menu and gesture her to clean the table as well. She gestured us to wait. So we waited. She went in and came out with a receipt tray, walking pass the condiment bar, where they put their menu, passing our table and attended a couple not far from our table. I was telling Ming how un-multi-tasked she was. Since she walked pass the menu, why can’t she bring it to us first? It’s on-the-way what..

So never mind… she walked in back with the money, and came out with the change (ONLY), walking pass the menu (AGAIN), without having the effort to at least let us see the menu, and gave the change to the other customer. And she walked pass our table, without taking away the dirty plates and went in for don’t-know-what. Such a lazy staff!

Then another waitress was walking towards us and I gestured again for the menu. She came over and put the plates on a tray and then rest them on the condiment bar and FINALLY we had our menu. My prediction of the laziness that runs in the restaurant was right when the waitress who put the tray on the condiment bar asked another waiter to clean it up for her. Ugh! I can’t really accept people who don’t multi-task and order other people to do things when they can do it themselves… especially when you’re working in f&b line. I kept telling Ming that if it was me last time (when I was working at Starbucks), surely this procrastination won’t happen. Well, at least our team last time won’t make customers wait for so long! (and we do everything without caring who do more and who do less.)

Ok… back to the waitress.. after she ordered some other guy to clean up the mess, she walked away again… and when we decided what to order, the first waitress walked pass us again and I told her I wanted to order… AGAIN, she gestured me to hold on.

HOW CAN????

It’s not like I’m not ready to order. In case some of you don’t know, this restaurant have this piece of paper menu for you to fill in what you want and you just pass to the waiter and they confirm on the order for you according to the paper. No need to write down order some more so lazy!!! Apa lah.

Then the same waiter who cleaned the mess just now took our order at last.

Ugh!!! Such a bad service!

And my noodles only came after Ming finished eating his rice! Took line… I don’t know… maybe half an hour or 45 minutes to cook my noodles!


I’m definitely not going back there again.

believe it or not!

when i finally have the mood to write this morning... i wrote a LONG post in MS Words... just after i finished writing, *POOF*

the screen went blank and i smelt something funny... it came out from the cpu...
