Hello People!

I just got back from Hatyai last night. Trip was quite fun. But ultimately boring the second night cos it took me just one whole day to explore the whole chinatown. Okay... story later.. No photos yet cos I left the camera with my brother.

Anyway, went to Poppy before CNY. Had fun.. I've never thought that I'll have fun with RnB music.. But then, it was more fun than I thought I'd be.. About 6-7 of them were drunk in the end.

So when I was dancing, there's this one guy came up and asked, "You're ..., right?" I couldn't really hear him at first.. He repeated, "YOU"RE THE BLOGGER, dy, RIGHT???"

Whoa!!!! I was kinda shocked at first. Then he introduced himself.. "I'm Zewt. Nice meeting you"

What a small... small world... I know he's one of JennHoel's friend.. But I've never thought that we'll meet up so soon! It was nice tho!

Oh, I saw another blogger that night in the ladies too... Fireangel! Didn't say hi to her tho.. Was busy taking care of other things..

Okay la... photos later.. TV time!!

Can You Spot What's Wrong?

I was on the lrt yesterday, going home after work. Like usual, it's quite crowded and I sttod at the exit, just beside the train's door. So there I was, standing there, scrutinizing people around me. (that's my favourite thing to do when I board the train..) So many things to see.. Like people holding hands, kids pestering their parents.. I like to read other people's newspaper/magazine if they're reading and happens to sit beside me.. The way friends talk to each other about another person.. The way people read SMSes and give funny expressions.. The way some people, especially school kids, sleeps with their mouth wide open and head banging here and there without even waking up..

So yesterday, I saw a guy. Quite good looking.. So as usual, I look at his hair.. "hmm.. not bad.." face.. not bad... I don't know about other girls, but I like to look at their hair, eyes, then I like to see what kinda shoes they wear, what's the material of their pants, what type of design is their belts, their shirt, their cufflinks (if there's any), watches.. etc.. Basically, I like to scrutinize them from head-to-toe.

So this leng cai, happens to stand right in front of me... and I thought, "Hmm.. not bad looking.. stand in front of me some more.. Ok la.. At least not some yucky smelly junkie.." Then, I realised something and I HAVE to snap a picture to post it here...

Excuse the poor quality of the picture above. I managed to take the picture also very good already you know... The train was stopping and there's people watching, so I have to make it like I'm typing/reading text message instead of taking picture... And I have to do it very fast..

I felt like I'm doing something terribly illegal when I take this photo.. So gen jiong... Ya mah.. Suddenly the guy come and grab my phone away how? (Like how those reporters/paparazzi kena from celebrities/politicians, etc.. when they snap their photo without permission..)

So... Can anyone spot what's wrong?

Ok lah! Yesterday, I'm lazy to post photo.. Today, I lazy write, so I post photo lah!
WeiLeng's bday's photo.. I didn't really took so much photo tho.. Malas la...

So they forced her to drink Flaming Lamborghini.
She stopped halfway because it's too hot. And added an ice cube then finished it..eww..

this is YeeMeng. Cute huh? like cartoon.
I told JennHoel that he always have a cute smile when he take pictures...

"Aneh... I also can be cute la... Lei..Lei.. Barn hor ngoi..." (come, come, pretend cute..)
-_-:

ok la.. serious bit...

we love you..
dy loves red...

Nobody can explain us.
I like this pic.
Hmm...
I woke up yesterday in the morning with tears in my eyes. The last time that I had tears rolling down my cheek when I wake up in the morning was few days after Harvey left to NY.
I dreamt that I got a call from YeeMeng saying that Jenn passed away and the next thing I know, I'm in the car with YeeMeng, going to Jenn's funeral.
The journey from my house to his seems so long in the dream.. It took almost forever.. And there's so many things went through my mind. So many memories. I remembered how we used to go out for the sake of going out.. I remembered how we used to go for movie 4 times a week.. I remembered those times when we argued for something stupid that I've done or he did.. I remembered how we used to ta pau burger and go uphill to eat, smoke and talk.. I remembered how he used to see me cry and do nothing but to listen to my tear drops..
So many other things.
I suddenly felt so lost, knowing that he's not gonna be around for me anymore. Though we never really hang out so often nowadays, we still meant a lot to each other. We both knew it.
I'm so relieved that it was only a dream..
But it does affect me.
How much he meant to me?
Even myself doesn't know.

Valentine's Day or Everything Pricey Day?

Yo!

Went to WeiLeng's birthday party yesterday night at Luna Bar. The place is nice. Cozy la.. But since she invited quite a few group of friends, I only know JennHoel, YeeMeng, Andrew, Scott and YitMeng(WeiLeng's hamsem elder brother). Didn't drink tho.. I stopped drinking since November 2006 (TOTAL LOSS!). Scared d.. So now, I only drink Bailey's Cream.

Anyway, overall, the party was ok la.. Took some pictures.. But I'm too lazy to upload it now.. Maybe later.

So today's Valentine's day.

Just like any other day, nothing so special to be happy about. I think the most special thing is the ever "special" price of everything. Like chocolates, flowers, dinners, etc.

I remember my first Valentine's Day with my first bf were celebrated at home. Year 2002. Because it falls on Chap Goh Mei, the last day of Chinese New Year, so he came over for dinner and that's about it. Nothing special. No flowers. No chocolates. No gift. Just hugs. And I made a card for him.

The second V day, also with the same guy. Celebrated in the car, arguing. I remembered that I have to work and I thought we can go for dinner after I finish work. But he doesn't seems to like the idea of hanging outside cos of the crowd.. Some other topics came up and my face became like a charcoal all the way he drove me home. No flowers. No chocolates. No gift. But I bought a couple t-shirt. "CHOP" for him, "STICK" for me.

Third V day, year 2005. Spent it with my then bf.. Also spent it at home because I'm sick. And it rains heavily that day. No chocolates. No flowers. Got a perfume two days after V day. Gave him a perfume too. And made a card.

Year 2006. Spent my V day with Ming. We went to Bagan Lalang, Morib to have seafood. VERY cheap seafood. VERY nice also. We went there with JoyceGary and JoeMaggie. Though the ambience is not so romantic.. (it's at seaside. and the shops is like atap house..) But food was delicious and we don't have to pay so much for some overrated stuff in town. No flowers. No chocolates. Ming bought me a DK watch. I bought him a couple t-shirt from Levi's. And made him a card. Nothing much special tho.. cos Ming thinks V day is just another normal day except for everything is overly pricey..

This year?

We celebrated it last weekend at the Ritz Carlton KL... My treat.. Teehee... Nothing much also. We brought some HK drama series to watch.. Some nice musics.. We bought sparkling juice, sushi, condom . We talked.. We laughed.. We dreamt..

It's nice.

Simple.

Oh, still no chocolates. Still no flowers. Oh, I got a pair of three quaters pants from Ming.. Nice!

Reminisce.

Two years ago *click* , I kinda ditched my personal journal and started to write online instead. At first, the blog add was http://bhjorzholicious.blogspot.com (if i remember correctly). Why i use that as my add? I also dunno.. bhjorzho (pronounced as "bozo"), was actually my ex's nickname. I thought it's cute, so I modified the spelling and made it as my blog's address. Two years ago, I write things here mostly to express my feelings. Just to release some tensions. I started writing journal since very young. Most of it was daily happenings/rants/gossips/secrets/feelings/thoughts. Then I got tired of buying thick books to write and carry around, I switched to online blogging. I admit that at the beginning of this blog, those things that I've posted were mainly just to let my then boyfriend to read (I think he's the only reader back then).. Some of the posts were not so true. I remembered writing some of the posts carefully just to keep him happy. After a while, I can't stand it and we broke up. And I continued writing here. Back to writing normal stuffs. Writing with my heart. Like how I write my journal.

I then changed the blog add to http://harveylicous.blogspot.com (I know, it's very lame). because Harvey was the person I thought I'm gonna marry (I know.. Naive..). The title of this blog was "Everything Changes" back then ( I know I know.. lame.. and I took Taylor Hanson's favourite quote as my blog title..) That was two year ago *click*. From that time onwards, life's been great. Tho it was kind of a short term one, but I did enjoy everything that happened between me and Harvey. He made me realised a lot of things in life that I should learn. I learnt a lot of things indirectly from his absence. That was after he migrated to New York on 22 April 2004.

Few months after he went to NY, I again, changed my blog title. Which is the one that I'm using now- :: confessions of a drunken mistress :: That was the time when my life turns around, goes up and down, left and right, flew from earth to Pluto, back and forth.. in and out..

Things gets a lil bitter and sour between me and Harvey seven months after he left Malaysia. He's still the one that I love most but I can't hold on any longer. That time, I finally knew what's the meaning of "When you really love a person, you have to let them go. Give them freedom. Pray for their happiness." That's what I did. I've dwell too much since his absence. I cried almost every night, missing him. The first thing I do when I woke up in the morning is to check if he's online, check my phone to see if I missed his call. I go to sleep every night praying that he could hear my heart. Praying for his happiness. Telling God to give him strength to do his work, give him lotsa happiness, give him good health and repeatedly asked God to remind him not to forget me. Praying that we'll hold on to it no matter what. Every night without fail, I prayed. But I can't hold on to it any longer. So I gave up on him with a heavy heart. Even so, I continued to pray for him every night without fail. Pray that he will be strong. Pray that he will be cheerful. Pary that he will not forget me.

Such a selfish person I was.

One year ago *click*, I found Ming. Thanks to his presence, I'm not a "drunken mistress". Life's shitty before I met him. Life's turning just before I met Ming. I'm lucky that I bumped into him. If not, I'll really become a drunken mistress.

So many things changed in two years time.

So many people came and went.

And there's more waiting for me.. More to come..

Jade Crystal

Went to Jade Crystal again for their La Mian and Siu Long Bao the other night. Been there lotsa times. Food is superb!

We didn't order much that night cos the last time we went, we ordered 2bowls of noodles, 1 set Siu Long Bao and another side dish, we ate til we can't move. Everytime go there, sure eat til cannot move..!

So this time, we thought ordered 1bowl of noodle, 1 Siu Long Bao and 1 bowl of soup dumplings is enough. That also, very very full!!

Dumpling Soup

Hand Sliced Noodle with Beef Brisket

This time, Ming suggested to try the hand-sliced noodle cos he saw a tv show on how chefs put the noodle dough on their heads and sliced the noodle perfectly thin with their eyes blindfolded.
Taste? The beef brisket was nice.. Soup was nice.. But the noodle, some were thick and some ngam ngam hou thin. So noodle is not so nice.. since it's hand sliced, I forgive them.. I still prefer the La Mian they "pull" themselves. very nice! Should try the Sze Chuan style La Mian.

Now, this is my favouritEST dish of all....

The ULTIMATE Super Duper Yummy Siu Long Bao!!!

It doesn't taste as bad as it looks like in the picture.. We went there during dinner time, so the presentation of the food were not so nice. But they quality of the food is still thumbs up!

See? It didn't break when we pick it up. The "skin" is not thick at all. Ngam ngam hou. Very nice!! The taste of the soup is super yummy! Talking about it now also feel like eating there again...

They serve quite a big portion for their food. And their Chinese tea is also free flow.. It's located at Lot 10. Near Isetan entrance. Nice place but smoking area is too small. They only have enough tables to fit approx. 10 pax outside.. So normally, for heavy smoker like me, we either choose off-peak time to eat there so that we can stay longer or we just go after finish our meals to fag.
9/10 for their food. Of course cannot give full marks geh.. Hehe.. For the quality and quantity of their food, RM50 for 2 person is very reasonable and more than enough to spend there. Trust me, if only 2 person is going to eat there, don't order 2bowls of noodles... really very full geh....
Went to One Utame the other day and we saw another Shanghai cuisine restaurant. Dragon-I.. some of my friends been there before and they said food were superb too! Going to try it one day.. Perhaps after Chinese New Year can go.. After I come home from Hatyai!! Anyone wants anything???

Dear All

Dear all my beloved faithful frequent reader/commentor...

I would like to declare something today.

I'm happy that there's actually people who reads my blog and post a comment after I post up something here. I appreciate your support very much like how I appreciate posting up for you guys to read during your leisure time.

I'm a very scurrilous person myself. I do use quite a lot of vulgar words here in my blog too.

However, I do not wish that my dearest beloved well-mannered commentor to use vulgarity to pick on another courteous commentor and start a fight.

I do not wish that at the end of the day, nobody wants to come and read my precious blog.

=(

sobz..

Ok lah!

Want to fight, can fight without vulgar words geh... Don't have to become so chou lou... Like that, everybody happy. No need to degrade other people by any standard or act like you-know -everything like that...

p/s- Sometimes, I really don't understand what you commentors talk about.. tiu...

Shanghai 10

Had dinner at Shanghai 10 on the 1st of January 2007. Heard of this place quite some time ago and finally, that day, I manage to persuade Ming to try their food. Gary, Ah Mun and Ah Loon was with us too..

Have you guys realised lately that Shanghai Cuisine restaurants are opening like a pig giving birth? So many restaurants of the same sorts.. Getting so over rated. I mean the food la..

What's so nice about Shanghai 10?? Let's see..

It's located at the corner of Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar. Very easy to find.
(that's Ming, in black!)

World Famous Shanghai Soup Dumpling... Famous, but not BEST.

Their signature Shanghai Double Boiled Soup Dumpling. (Siu Long Bao)

It's quite big. Taste yummy too. But not as yummy as I've expected tho. They said a perfect Siu Long Bao will not break when you pick up with a chopstick and the soup will remain inside nicely. But this one, it breaks. Hmm.. But it's tasty too.

I forgot what this dish called. I think it's jellyfish..

Very chewy.. Nice also-lah

Stir Fried Rice Flour Roll with Spicy Sauce.

Sounds special? It's actually fried chee cheung fun.

Shanghai Special Fried Bean Sheet.
Tasty too. Tastes like char kuey tiao but more chewy.

Shanghai Dumpling La Mian.
At first we thought the La Mian is handmade by their chef, but then it's not.. It's just the normal machine-made noodle. The noodle is only so-so. But the dumpling was yummy~

Shanghai Water Pan-Fried Dumpling. (Wo Tip)
This Wo Tip is not bad also. But I still prefer Esquire Kitchen's Wo Tip.

Shanghai Water Pan-Fried Dumpling.
This dish, I thought it will taste like the Siu Long Bao... But then the bun's flour is not fully cooked at the tip of the bun. But the meat's taste is on la.. Just that I personally feel that they should fried the whole bun instead of just the bottom. Same goes to the Wo Tip.

Beancurd Rolls with Prawn, Squid and Cheese.
This was yummy too.. Skin is not so thick, lotsa fillings.

So overall, I'd give 6.5/10 for the food. Service is not bad too. Chinese tea were free flow. So we sat there from 6pm til I think around 9pm.. hehe.. All because of the free flow Chinese tea. =P

However, the employee there are not so tidy looking tho. And I saw something very embarassing while we're eating.
A guy, wearing a coat, which I supposed is the manager there, were yelling at the waitress. He was sitting quite far, about 20feet away from us, at the table. I heard something like.. "Who say can sit? Ha?? Who said you can sit??" Then the waitress mumbled something and he keep on repeating the same thing, "You tell me, who said you can do that? bla.. bla..." I can't really hear what he was yelling about... Then the waitress just turned and walked away after he finished.
I just stared at him with a disgusted look.
How can you scold your employee in front of everybody?? I mean in public??
This will drop the image of the restaurant and it's not professional and it's unethical too. He should pull her into the back of house and talk to her privately. Not shouting so loud like that.. Some more it's dinner time.. Quite a lot of people there too... And he just stared at me back when I gave him that you're-just-a-fucking-ass-licking-manager look. Shame on you!

Ugh... Very lazy to type d... Ciaoz!
[current mood]
so-so
[quote of the day]
everything changes. don't expect everything will remain the same.

Sei Puk Gai Part II

Ok... I've been sick for more than a week now. Worked 6a.m shift for a week and I've missed quite a lot of "live" dramas gossips stories in the office.

And I feel like bitching today..

Remember I talked about
sei puk gai? I forgot to tell you guys the ugliest attitude that he have.

He LIKES to CHEAT for no apparent reason.

Well, not that there's no reason, it's just that the reasons are normally ridiculous. And the thing is, he doesn't need to lie because it makes no difference since C doesn't trust him at all because of what he always did. (ugh.. I'm suddenly confuse of what I was saying..)

In another word, sei puk gai likes to lie and make stories all the time that C doesn't trust him anymore. Not at all.

So the other day, sei puk gai was on MC. I asked C what happened and she told me that they fought the day before so he don't want to go work. apa lanjiao?

So not professional.

So I asked C what happened. He lie again. the story is....

C worked late shift last week and he finishes at 7p.m. He offered to stay a while and accompany C. Then he told her that he's going to prayers meeting at his churh with his mom. So he left around 7.30p.m. Right after he went off, C text his mother and ask her if they are going to churh together or not. The mother told C that no, she's not going and she doesn't know anything about any meeting.

So later at night, he called her to chat after the "meeting". He even told her that he just came home with his mother. She just chatted normally with him and after a while, she asked him about the meeting. How it went.. bla bla.. he told her that his mom didn't go anyway. (at first he told her that he just came home with his mom.. now said the mother didn't follow.. cet!) Then he sensed something and asked her to hold the line a while and after he came back on the line, he asked, "You checked on me? Why you checked on me?" very fiercely and told C ,"You know I totally hate people checking on me right?" C asked him why he lied. She didn't even bother to ask where he went. But then he just scolDed C for checking on him and told C, "Luckily my mother told me. If not, I wouldn't know that you checked on me!!"

C and his mother always contact each other before this. Because sei puk gai always lie to his mother and also C, both of them always tell each other his whereabout and tried to change him.. But he doesn't know that and thought that his own mother was "helping" him that's why she told him that C text her.

If I'm him, I will dig a very deep hole underground and burry myself deep deep... paiseh.

Then after a while they talked, he told C that this relationship mean nothing d because no trust, then he said, "Fen la, fen la.. ngor waan mm hei ar," (Break up la, break up la.. Don't want to play) [something like that la...] before hang up, he told her, "Tomorrow I'll be on MC!"

That's how they broke up.

more bitching gossip to come soon. keep refreshing..

Anyway, I'm very lazy to blog now and there's so many photos so upload and I'm just too lazy to upload all of it. Hmm.. I wrote a post just now and I'm just too lazy to read it all over again and edit it cos it's just too long and it's purely bitching session. I'll post it later.. Damn lazy.. So I'll just post up some photos of the wedding dinner randomly and go back to my work. Oh, maybe I'll continue bitching bout other things if I'm in the mood later..

Sick.

Sick today.

Flu virus caught from my sister yesterday! Ceh.. So long didn't see her, once see her, get flu.. Tiu..

Not only flu.. sore throat and fever as well.. Well, C told me to take MC tomorrow. Told her if i'm okay by tonight, I'll come to work tomorrow. But then again, I kinda hoped that I can get an MC tomorrow.. =P

Started sneezing non-stop when Debb reaches home yesterday night. So I went back to Ming's place and continue sneezing miserably. It's so hard to breathe and everytime I do so, my nose hurts. So I took those runny nose pills that I kept from the last time I went to see the doctor. Supposed to take one pill, but then I took two. Fell dead asleep after ten minutes until this morning. Ahh....! The power of pills.....

I forgot to bring any medicine to work and now, my head hurts and my nose blocked and my eyes are itchy. Is that a sign if sinus? Hopefully not!!

I SOOOOOO need a 24-hours' sleep!!!

Sei Puk Gai.

Today, I want to talk about a male colleague who is a puk gai zai.

His current girlfriend, let's call her C, happens to sit behind me. Yes. He hitted on her the second month we start working.

At first, when he's hitting on her, he's all caring and gentle. But after a while, he became like a piece of shit.

Yes. He's not good looking. Ok, let's not talk about looks cos we can't judge a book by it's cover, right? Let's talk about his personality... He talk with his mouth closed. Well, almost closed and he sounded very funny. When people talk to him, he don't look at people in the eyes. Also, seems like everytime he talks to people, he hunch his back and touches his nose (wth??). Very uncomfortable if you talk to him the first time. Really!

He's very calculative. When I say calculative, it's money wise and workload wise. C used to make/buy lunch for him everytime she have time. In which, he never say "thank you" nor pay her back. Like it's her duty to do that. (ceh!!) He, on the other hand, NEVER offers to buy her breakfast/lunch everytime he buy his. (fucking selfish can!) At least ask la.. After a while, C don't make/buy for him anymore. He can ask C, "Why lately never make/buy lunch for me geh?" LIKE THAT PERSON ALSO HAVE!!!! You never say thank you or make any gesture to buy lunch for your gf, still wanna ask like that! Pui! When C gets angry and tell him, the next week, everyday he buy breakfast, after that, back to square one.

C and I always talk to each other when there's not much call. She often tells me about what happens between them or what they always argue about, etc. So there's this one time, C said that she wants to eat dim sum. He told her that he don't have much money, so C told him that it's ok, she'll buy. So they went and C told me that he ate quite a lot. Never mind, since that guys natturally eats more than girls, and since he's her bf. After few months, C wants to eat dim sum again. This time, he said he'll buy. So they went and had dim sum. After meal, C asks for bill. The waiter came and he just sits there and didn't make any move. To avoid any embarrassment, C pulls out her wallet and paid. WAH!!!! Like THAT also can!!! Does he knows how to spell shame?? Tsk.. Tsk... First, he said he'll buy, but when bill came, he made no gesture to pay!! (,,#゚Д゚):∴;'・,;`:ゴルァ!! It turns out that before they went for dim sum, C checked his wallet and found out that he actually have no money for dim sum.

C told me that they don't really go out cos she doesn't want him to spend so much. And also, almost everytime they go out, if she's buying, they go for average places like Kim Gary. If he's buying, normally will automatically be mamak stall.

Σ(゚Д゚)

Sometimes if they go out, only C eats and he just drink, he make no gesture to pay the bill at all. Saying that he didn't eat so he don't pay.

Double WAH!!!!

Some more when they argue, he told C that he always pay for their food. Meh hai? C told me it's always mamak, or from economic rice. Where as C, almost everyday cook or buy for him. Not cheap you know..

Also another time, C bought a drink from Coffee Bean. She drank a bit, not even quarter of that, and he took and drink. Like he never drink Coffee bean drink before.. After a while, C feels thristy and wants to drink... She asked for her drink back and guess what he said? "Drink finish already."

Σ( ̄ε ̄;・・・

Didn't even ask her whether she still wants to drink or not!! Double tsk tsk!

Ok. Let's talk about work.

Our job is not hard. Just sit here and wait for phone call. And now, we have one runner everyday to arrange transfer for guest, reply emails and etc. So the yesterday, it's his turn to become the runner. Basically, a runner have nothing much to do compared to us cos we have to answer call, runner no need. Just sit there, emailing and faxing and calling hotel. So I have a guest who's arriving in few hours time and needed airport transfers. I passed it to him to contact the hotel and it's clearly written in the request form the flight number and the arrival time. After few hours, I got a call from travel agent saying that the transfer confirmation that she received from him is wrongly done. The time and flight number was wrong!! Luckily she called that hotel and it turns out, puk gai zai called the hotel and informed the correct time, just that when he send the confirmation to the travel agent, he wrote it wrongly.

I got scolded for no apparent reason!

Some more can complain to C that we (everybody) "used" him to the max to do emailing and faxing. So today, he wants to "use" the runner of the day to the max also. WTH??? It's the runner's duty to arrange all the transfer and email. We didn't ask him to do a lot!! C told him that it's not reasonable to make such mistakes cos he's not busy at all, since she saw him still have time to instant messaging and playing online games.. And what he replied? "Laugh all you can."

DAMN SIU HEI CAN DIE!!!!!

C didn't even laugh at him for his stupid mistake! She was just telling the truth! Simple mistake like this shouldn't happen at all cos he's not busy taking calls. It's different story if he's busy making reservations like us, taking non-stop calls and have no time to really sit quietly and send 100% accurately emails to urgent guests.

Wah! If MY boyfriend is like this, I'll kick him out of this damn building from 14th floor!

Oh, btw, C is actually two timing him. C went back to his ex bf after a while she's with this puk gai zai and neither of them knows about this. I asked C why still want this puk gai zai, she said they're working together and she don't want to become his pain-in-the-ass. If i were her, I'll let him suffer, I don't care and work is work, don't bring personal issue to work.

I'll never date a guy who can't differenciate personal issue and work. I'll never date a guy who is so siu hei also.

I felt blessed after looking at them. I didn't mean to brag. But I think Ming is WAY better. At least I don't mind buying him lunch cos I know he'll say "thank you" even if he don't pay me back. At least he don't say he'll buy me lunch and pretend dunno when the waiter come to settle bill. At least he pay my phone bill. At least he don't drink up my favourite drink without asking!!

Guy like this puk gai zai's attitude, you see before or not?
